decay. So it is important to avoid consuming crackers if you want to have great oral health.

The dried fruits with the term fruits make it sound healthy, but it isn’t because all the water is
soaked out of these fruits. So all the nutrients and water run out of the fruit, and all that is left
there is sugar, which the bacteria feeds on.

It can be bad for oral health because there is no water or nutrients in it. The whole fruit has more nutrients and is beneficial for oral health.

All the sodas, even the diet sodas with the zero calories, have a lot of acid in them. If we
compare this on a pH scale, then there are many soft drinks that rank between 2 to 3 and can be highly acidic even when compared to coffee. If there is such acidity in the mouth, then it can be very harmful to oral health.

The foods for great oral health shouldn’t be this acidic because they can cause gum problems, bacterias, and a lot of other things which aren’t good for the teeth. If you ever drink soft drinks, then drink for a short period of time and then brush your teeth.

4. Kombucha:

Many people say that kombucha is an excellent drink for the digestive system, but it is not a
a good drink for the teeth. Kombucha helps in fighting with the bacterias in the body, but a lot
of kombuchas have added sugars, which can be unhealthy for the teeth.

You need to make sure that the kombucha you are drinking doesn’t have added sugar, then you can drink it, and it won’t spoil oral health. It is important to make sure that you rinse your mouth and then
brush your teeth after 45 minutes.

5. Beans and Lentils:

Beans and lentils are also considered as healthy food, but the acid present in them is not
good for the teeth as they can cause tooth decay. The phytic acid binds the nutrients like
phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D, making it difficult for the teeth to absorb
them.

Deficiencies of nutrients can cause tooth decay and aren’t great for oral health. It is
important to make sure that you are consuming foods for great oral health and not the ones
that has a lot of acids in them.
